A Proud NYC and New Jersey Business since 1999

We opened the first school in 1999. Since then we’ve taught Italian, Spanish and French to thousands of people. Our clients include a roster of blue-chip companies. For example, we taught Italian to Maserati and Dolce & Gabbana, Spanish to MTV and Zara, and French to Chanel and Cartier. Today our main focus is on private lessons and small groups of dedicated students. We also lead immersion experience trips to Italy.

  • The instruction that I received at the Means Language Center was second to none. As someone with an elementary foundation in Spanish, I was looking to enhance my skills so that I would be conversationally proficient while traveling for business. My instructor assessed my language skills and then developed a personalized lesson plan to help me achieve my goals.

  • My coworkers and I took Italian lessons with the Means Language Center during the course of a year and loved the classes. Classes were organized by level and our instructor was able to build our conversational skills while giving us homework assignments to build our written skills. I think that the teaching style - I've studied Italian for about two years with several different instructors - was the most effective. I've received many compliments on my progress in Italian.

  • Fantastic language school--classes are small and comfortable, everyone is super nice and there's almost always wine. This is way more fun than learning a language was in high school/college!
